Moorings for the race are still available.

Chas Newens Marine have a number of mid-stream moorings for vessels up to 10 Ton that can be hired on a temporary basis. From these you can view the start of the Isis Goldie Race and the main Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race.

You will have to be on the mooring by 14.40 and you have to remain stationary on that buoy until the river is re-opened at approximately 17.30. The confirmed time will be given by the PLA via London VTS on Channel 14. Your position within the racing area does not allow you to follow the flotilla of boats following the actual race.
