Boat Race organisers have today announced that the 2008 Boat Race will take place on Saturday March 29th at 17.15.

This will be the 154th in the series which dates back to 1829.

Crews for the 2007 Boat Race, sponsored by Xchanging and due to take place on Saturday 7th April at 4.30pm, were announced yesterday in London.

Cambridge lead the series overall by 78-73, with one dead heat. Oxford have won four of the past five encounters.
